Juddmonte Spinster Stakes

The Juddmonte Spinster Stakes is a horse race for fillies and mares who are age three or up. The race was run for the fiftieth time in October 2005. The race is run at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky at a distance of one and one-eighth miles. It is a Grade I event with a purse of $500,000. The Spinster is a major prep for the Breeders' Cup Distaff and one of the most important weight-for-age stakes races exclusively for fillies and mares.
