Julio M. Fernandez (born 1954 in Santiago, Chile) is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Columbia University, New York.

Julio Fernandez studies single-molecule protein biophysics. His lab uses atomic force microscopes (AFM) for force spectroscopy to study the structure and folding of proteins.

Julio C. Fernandez (born 1969 in Barrancabermeja, Colombia) is a Marketing Director for Oracle Corporation.
