Jumping Flash!
Encyclopedia : J : JU : JUM : Jumping Flash!
Jumping Flash! is a platform game released in 1995 for the PlayStation. It features Robbit, a rabbit-like robot, who must find and collect the Jetpods dispersed throughout the game's levels. Most of the game's enemies are a variety of animal-like creatures.
Robbit's moves are the triple-jump, as well as single- and double-jumps, and a blasting attack, which shoots a low-power beam in the forward direction. Additionally Robbit could utilize a 'hexajump' - a jump followed by up to five addition height boosts - if a new game was started after completing the game. There are also "Special Items" for Robbit to use against his enemies, including Cherry Bombs, Rockets, Roman Candles, and Twisters. While the game is a platform game, it is unique in that it is played from a first person perspective.
Jumping Flash! was followed by two sequels, Jumping Flash! 2 and Robbit Mon Dieu, both also released on PlayStation.
