Jurong East is a town located next to Clementi Town in Western Singapore. It has an area of 3.8 km². The Jurong East MRT Station and bus interchange are also located there. Plus,the famous Singapore Science Centre is also located there where tourists flock by daily. It is quite close to the Singapore Chinese Gardens or Yu Hua Yuan. IMM, which contains a Giant Hypermart, is the shopping mall where crowds throng to during weekends. The Akira store is also a crowd-puller with its popular Warehouse Sale selling branded products cheaply via deep discounts and auctions. It is under the Southwest CDC.
