Justin Pogge

Justin Pogge (born April 22, 1986, in Fort McMurray, Alberta, now lives in Penticton, British Columbia) is an amateur ice hockey player for the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League (WHL), playing the position of goaltender. He was raised alone by his mother Annet for his whole life. He was drafted in the third round, 90th overall in the 2004 Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs, and signed to a three-year entry contract on December 19th, 2005. It is expected that he will play for the Toronto Marlies once his junior career ends. On January 5th, 2006 Justin Pogge led Team Canada to a 5-0 win over Team Russia to win gold at the 2006 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. After the game Justin received the team Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.
Pogge is currently in a 2006 summer ad campaign for the Canadian clothing store, Bootlegger, modelling the summer's fashions.
