K. M. Peyton is the pseudonym of husband and wife team Kathleen Wendy Herald Peyton (born August 2, 1929 in Birmingham) and Michael P. Peyton. They are both British novelists and jointly they write children's books. They have over fifty books to their credit, including the hugely successful Flambards series.
The book Fly By Night is sometimes alleged to have been written by Christine Pullein-Thompson. This is because some publishers have published this title with her name on. In addition The Team is a sequel to it, therefore adding to the confusion.
