KDCG-CA, Channel 22 in Opelousas, LA is an affiliate of the America One network, but also airs programming from the Sportsman Channel along with a strong slate of original programming. KDCG served as Lafayette's Pax affiliate from the network's start in 1998, but dropped the network when the Lafayette cable system chose to add Pax's national feed to its lineup instead of the local station due to signal reception issues.
After a long and drawn-out negotiation process, KDCG will be added to Cox Communications Greater Lafayette cable system on August 15, 2006. It will be available on cable channel 9. [link]
