KESQ-TV (UHF Channel 42) is an ABC affiliate based in Palm Springs, California. It is owned and operated by Gulf-California Broadcast Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of News-Press & Gazette Company, along with other Coachella Valley media outlets KUNA-FM, KUNA-LP and KESQ-AM. Gulf-California also operates KDFX-CA, the Coachella Valley's FOX affiliate, and "KCWB", a cable-only The WB outlet.

KESQ-TV originally began broadcasting in November 1968 as KPLM-TV and has always been the original ABC affiliate for Palm Springs.

Starting in September 2006, the company is slated to switch "KCWB" to The CW Television Network.

KESQ-DT simulcasts on digital channel 51, which also carries KDFX as a subchannel.

KESQ-TV is available on cable channel 3 on all Coachella Valley area cable systems.
