KFNS-AM

KFNS is an AM radio station in Wood River, Illinois located at 590kHz. KFNS's programming is targeted to the St. Louis metropolitan area with studios in Webster Groves, Missouri. KFNS is also an FM radio station in Troy, Missouri located at 100.7 mHz, and can be heard in Lincoln, St. Charles and Warren counties in eastern Missouri, with the same programming as its AM partner. Both KFNS stations go by the name of The FAN.
KFNS is a SportsTalk radio station, which also airs St. Louis Steamers indoor soccer games and Saint Louis University basketball games. Beginning with the 2006 season, KFNS-FM is the new radio home for River City Rascals baseball games during the summer months.
KFNS-AM and KFNS-FM are both currently owned by All Sports Radio and broadcasts with 1.0 kW of power, 24 hours per day. KFNS broadcasts using 4 towers during the daytime hours and 3 towers at night. KFNS first went on the air with its sports-talk format in 1993.
