KGDB (http://kgdb.linsyssoft.com/) is a debugger for Linux kernel. It requires two machines that are connected using a null modem cable. KGDB is implemented as a patch to Linux kernel. The first of the two machines is running the instrumented kernel. The other machine runs gdb.
KGDB is available to the following architectures: x86, x86_64, ppc, and s390.
