KGHP, broadcasting at FM 89.9, is a high school radio station in Auburn, Washington.
The station was launched in 1988 and is owned and operated by the Peninsula School District #401. The first manager and teacher was Don Hofmann, a former KNBQ-FM general manager. KSTW-TV technician Max Bice was the engineer.
At the time it started it was one of three high school radio stations in Washington state. The high school students run the radio station during the day and in the evening to night hours, it is run by community volunteers. KGHP-FM is a multi-fomat radio station.
