KHBS is a television station in Fort Smith, Arkansas, broadcasting locally on channel 40 as an affiliate of ABC. In addition, a satellite station, KHOG-TV in Fayetteville, Arkansas, rebroadcasts the station's signal on channel 29. Both stations are owned by Hearst-Argyle Television, and are normally referred to as one entity.

Channel 40 first broadcast as CBS affiliate KFPW-TV in 1971. In 1977, a second transmitter, KTVP on channel 29 in Fayetteville, was added. Both stations changed callsigns, and their affiliation, in the 1980s.

The station currently produces four newscasts daily: from 5-7am, and at 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm.
