KKSF, known as "KKSF 103.7," is a smooth jazz radio station which is broadcast in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is owned and operated by Clear Channel Communications. KKSF often bills itself as "The Bay Area's Smooth Jazz Station." Under original Program Director Steve Feinstein, KKSF was one of the first stations in the format that is now called Smooth Jazz, spawning imitators across the country.

Before the station's launch as KKSF in the late 1980's, it was operated as KLOK-FM, with the slogan "Yes/No Radio" (a request format). KLOK was preceded on 103.7 by talk-formatted KGO-FM, carrying the ABC Talkradio syndicated format in the 1980s. Prior to that the station was known as KSFX, with a rock format emulating ABC's co-owned WPLJ in New York. In the 1970s, the station introduced disco music to Bay Area listeners, and back in the late 1960s (as KGO-FM) was the outlet for ABC Love, an automated format designed to reach hippies. In earlier days, it simulcast co-owned KGO radio, at some times doing early stereo broadcasts with its sister station of the Lawrence Welk show.

Recently, KKSF has lost its touch with the jazz community by playing more "jazzy techno" styles of music. KKSF also persists to play a cover of the classical jazz song "Take Five" by the Dave Brubeck Quartet which was known for having 5 beats per measure instead of 4. This cover by a group called "XL" instead plays the song with 4 beats, which removes the distinguishing creativity of the song. Being that KKSF has played this song exclusively while not playing the original, amongst other reasons, KKSF has fallen from favor in the jazz community.

KKSF is a Class B FM station, transmitting from Sutro Tower at an effective radiated power of 7200 watts. The station is repeated by a low-powered translator in Pleasanton, to fill in coverage gaps caused by topography issues.

This FM radio station is currently broadcasting digital radio using the HD Radio system from iBiquity. KKSF's HD broadcast also makes available a "second" channel that can only be received with an HD receiver. The KKSF HD-2 Channel features the Traditional Jazz program 'Jazz Cafe' 24/7.
