KNAZ-TV

KNAZ is an NBC television affiliate in Flagstaff, Arizona. It is a satellite of KPNX in many ways. It simulcasts the 6 a.m., 4:30 p.m., and 5 p.m. news from KPNX, and runs all of the same network and syndicated programming as KPNX. It produces its own newscast at 6:30 a.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m.
The station began operations as KOAI-TV on May 2, 1970. As of December 2005, Gannett has announced that they have put KNAZ up for sale. [link]. As of July 2006, however, no suitable buyer has yet surfaced.
