Located in the Karova star system, KO-35 is home to a society of humans (named "Karovans" or "Karovians" by fans). Its people are noted for their telekinetic abilities which apparently stem from rigorous training beginning in childhood.
KO-35 was the home planet of Andros, Zhane, and Karone. It was also here that the powers and technology were developed (at least in part), possibly with the aid of Zordon.
Around the year 1996, KO-35 was invaded by a huge army led by Dark Specter, resulting in the near death of Zhane and the abandonment of the world by its people. Since then, the world remained empty, until the Space Rangers helped them move back home after stumbling across their temporary new homeworld. At this time, the people of KO-35 were known as the "Rebels."
During his mass invasion of every major planet of the universe (during Countdown to Destruction), Dark Specter had the Machine Empire attack KO-35. It was the death of Zordon which released a pure beam of energy that wiped out the invaders and freed the world.
By the year 2025, Space Patrol Delta had a prison facility in KO-35's orbit. ().
NOTE: In Power Rangers: In Space, KO-35 did not have any planetary rings, but in Power Rangers: SPD it was shown to have rings, unless this was not KO-35.
