KOKF (91 FM) is a Christian CHR/Christian Active Rock station serving the Oklahoma City area and is owned by RDM Broadcasting.

History

The station went on the air with a Christian Music format in October of 1978. The station switched Christian Contemporary Hit Radio in 1985 and was one of the first in the nation to adopt this format.

Ownership Change in Near Future

The station is being sold to Educational Media Foundation (owners of KYLV 88.9 FM). It has been announced on the air as of mid-May and the change is scheduled to take place May 25, 2006. EMF only runs stations that carry their Christian AC network (K-Love on KYLV) and Air 1 (their Christian Rock format). They will likely put Air 1 on 90.9 FM.
