KTPW-FM

KTPW-FM is a Christian rock radio station located in Dallas, Texas. It is owned and operated by Research Educational Foundation, Inc. (a non-profit entity) and broadcasts on 89.7 FM. As a non-profit, it hosts an annual fund-raising drive to remain on the air.
KTPW features alternative Christian music, primarily artists whose musical styles would not be broadcast on the more "mainstream" KLTY-FM.
KTPW began as a three-hour segment on sister station KVTT-FM. However, the popularity of Christian alternative music, and the absence of any other station playing it, led to formation of a separate radio station dedicated toward this format. It advertises itself as "89.7 Power FM" and "True Alternative".
