"KWFB" is the WB affiliate for the Bakersfield, California DMA, a sister station to NBC affiliate KGET-TV. The station is part of The WB 100+ Station Group, a series of cable outlets for markets below the top hundred in the country. The call sign is fictional, as it is not an FCC-licensed broadcast station; it is available only on Bakersfield cable systems on channel 12.
KWFB's future after The WB and UPN cease operations at the end of August to form The CW is unknown, as it does not currently have an affiliation agreement with the network. However, the CW affiliation may end up on KWFB and/or a digital subchannel of KGET; current UPN affiliate KUVI-TV will affiliate with My Network TV instead of the CW.
