KWMK

KWMK is a local cable channel affiliated with The WB. The channel is on cable channel 14 on the Midcontinent Communications cable system in Bismarck, and is offered on other Midcontinent lineups throughout western North Dakota. Most of its programming comes from The WB 100+ Station Group, a group of cable-only WB affiliates in small to medium markets.
The CW & My Network TV
In September 2006, The WB and UPN networks will merge to become The CW. The CW has signed an agreement to The WB 100+ Station Group to carry the future network, so it is very likely that KWMK will carry The CW. There is no full-time UPN affiliate in western North Dakota, though Fox affiliates KNDX and KXND broadcast UPN after the primetime schedule.In response to the merger, News Corporation is launching another network called My Network TV in September 2006. It is possible that KNDX/KXND will affiliate with My Network TV instead of the CW.
