KXVA is a television station in Abilene, Texas, broadcasting locally on channel 15 as an affiliate of the Fox network. The station is owned by Sage Broadcasting.
On January 9, 2001, several months later than expected[link], KXVA began broadcasting Fox programming. Prior to the launch of KXVA, Fox programming had been seen locally on Sage Broadcasting's KIDZ-LP, which became the area's UPN affiliate.
The station is not currently broadcasting digitally, as the station was initially licensed after 1999; it is expected to "flash-cut" to digital by the Federally-mandated deadline in 2009.
