Kachiro Kato

Kachiro Kato is a fictional character in the popular Japanese manga and anime series Prince of Tennis. Kachiro Kato is a part of the freshman three. He hangs around a lot with Satoshi Horio and Katsou Mizuno. Although he is not very good at tennis he thoroughly supports the Seishun team. He has a father who coaches at an expensive tennis club and is seen in the manga to pick up habits that his father has, such as using the word "damn".
In the anime he has once stood up to the upperclassmen who had wished ill of the Seishun Starters so that they could become starters themselves. He played Arai however lost. During this game he showed a lot of promise. In another episode, he was used as a back-up plan to fill in for the starters that have not shown up yet. (Momo, Kawamura, and Kaido)
