Kahoku, Ishikawa

Kahoku (かほく市; -shi) is a city in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
As of October 1, 2004, the city has an estimated population of 35,401 and a density of 547 persons per km². The total area is 64.76 km².
History
The city was established in 2004 by merger of three towns from Kahoku District: Takamatsu, Nanatsuka, and Unoke.
