Kalaallit Nunaata Radioa

It is an independent state-owned company headed by a nine-person board. Its activities are funded from a mixture of sources, including directly from the local government and from advertising.
KNR provides one national television station and one national radio station. Both operate mostly in Danish but also carry programmes in the native Kalaallisut language. The television station carries the main Danmarks Radio (DR) news bulletins, whilst a second radio channel relays DR output directly.
Greenland is also served by Nuuk TV and the American Forces Network.
