Kaladungi

Kaladungi is a town and a nagar panchayat in Nainital district in the Indian state of Uttaranchal.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Kaladungi had a population of 6126. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Kaladungi has an average literacy rate of 62%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 70%, and female literacy is 53%. In Kaladungi, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
