Kamimashiki (上益城郡; -gun) is a district located in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 85,809 and a density of 129.01 persons per km². The total area is 665.11 km².
Towns and villages
- On February 11, 2005, the municipalities of Yabe and Seiwa merged with the town of Soyo from Aso District to form the new town of Yamato.
