Karnei Shomron

Karnei Shomron, or Qarne Shomron, (Hebrew: קרני שומרון), meaning literally "the Horns of Samaria" is a Israeli local council of settlements in the West Bank, east of Kfar Saba. It is 48 km north-east of Tel Aviv and 85 km north of Jerusalem. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) end of 2004 census, the population of Karnei Shomron is 6,200.
Karnei Shomron is made up of a group of several previously independent settlements that were united in 1991: Ginot Shomron, Karnei Shomron, Neve Menachem, as well as two newer ones called Alonei Shilo, and Mitzpe Tzvaim.
