Kasba Ganapati

Kasba Ganapati is located near 'Lal Mahal' which means 'The red colored palace'. This mahal was built by Dadoji Kondev on the banks of the Mula-Mutha river. Lal mahal is the place where Shivaji and his mother Jijabai stayed during Shivaji's childhood. This Ganapati was founded during the construction of Lal Mahal. Kasba ganapati is the Gram Daivat (deity of city) of Pune.
