Katagiri Sadataka

Katagiri Sadataka (1560-1627) was a retainer of the Japanese clans of Tokugawa and Toyotomi during the Sengoku Period of the 16th century. Sadataka was the son of Katagiri Naomasa and a younger brother of Katagiri Katsumoto. Sadataka at first fought under Toyotomi Hideyoshi, but later switched his allegiance to the Tokugawa following one of the Sieges of Osaka. Following the death of Tokugawa Ieyasu during the year of 1616, he then became a retainer of Tokugawa Hidetada.
