Katakura Shigenaga

(1585-1659) was the son of Katakura Kagetsuna. When Shigenaga was a child, he was known as Samon. During the Battle of Domyoji and the Battle of Tennoji, Shigenaga became very distinguished. Shigenaga also fought at the Osaka Castle with his father, along with that of the famed Date Masamune.

Shigenaga soon became known as "Devil Kojuro" due to his notable skills. Later on people even thought of Shigenaga as the mirror-image of his own father.
