Kate Brewster

Kathryn "Kate" Brewster (1985) is a fictional character from the 2003 film [[Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines]]. In the film, she is portrayed by American actress Claire Danes.
She worked as a veterinarian before her office was destroyed by the T-X. She was then captured by another Terminator (the T-850 played by Arnold Schwarzenegger). In the Terminator's van she meets John Connor. It is revealed that she would become Connor's wife and one of his lieutenants. Together they survive the nuclear apocalypse that establishes Skynet's dominance. It is also mentioned in T3 that John Connor was a schoolmate of Kate Brewster during middle school before the two Terminators came - though this does not really add up with the events of Terminator 2 and is considered by die-hard Terminator fans as not being canon.
