Katee Stearns is the current Miss Maine USA 2006.
Stearns comes from Orono, Maine. She was crowned Miss Maine USA 2006 on Thanksgiving Weekend, 2005 at the The Sheraton Hotel in South Portland, ME. On April 21, 2006 she competed for the title of Miss USA 2006 in Baltimore, Maryland and placed in the top 15.
Stearns was also one of twenty six Miss USA Delegates who appeared on Deal or No Deal in April 2006.
At nineteen, Stearns is one of the youngest delegates competing in 2006. She graduated from John Bapst Memorial High School in 2004, and has gone on to study kinesology and dance from the University of Maine Orono. Stearns has received a number of academic awards in the past two years.
Her interests include pilates, surfing but her main dedication is to dance. By the age of fourteen, Stearns had achieved 3 national dance championship titles (including both team and individual). Her long term goal is to open her own dance studio.
