Kathleen Lane

Kathleen Lane was a singer during the Big Band era. She appeared with Glenn Miller’s first unsuccessful band in 1936; when Miller’s group folded, she signed with Isham Jones. Around that same time, she also worked with Bunny Berigan. Lane also worked with the bands of Bob Crosby, Bob Chester and Woody Herman. She was at times billed as Kitty Lane.
Her songs with Glenn Miller included "My Fine Feathered Friend", "Doin’ The Jive", "Silhouetted In the Moonlight", "Every Day’s A Holiday", and "Sweet Stranger".
