Encyclopedia : K : KE : KEN : Kendra Todd

Kendra Todd (born 1978 -) was "hired" by Donald Trump on national television at the conclusion of Season 3 of NBC's Apprentice live at New York University on May 19, 2005. She was the first female candidate, and the youngest, to be hired on national television.

Overview

Kendra is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, now living in Boynton Beach, Florida. Prior to becoming a Season 3 candidate, Kendra was a successful real estate broker from Boynton Beach, Florida. Kendra was 26 years old at the time the show was recorded and produced.

Prior to becoming a real estate broker, Kendra obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from the University of Florida, founded a highly-respected lifestyle magazine based on South Florida, and used her media expertise as a founder of My House Real Estate, Inc., a firm specializing in property acquisitions.

Kendra operates under the codename Agent 53 on a real-estate-investment radio talk show called My House, which is Florida's #1 real-estate-based radio show from Clear Channel Radio.

Performance

Although Kendra was one of the last people to become a Project Manager, Kendra had a very solid record as Project Manager. She used focus groups to effectively pinpoint what her potential customers would respond to, and gave everyone credit where credit was due.

It was believed that Tana abused her exemption during the Pontiac Solstice Task. While Craig and Tana "deserted" Kendra during the Pontiac Solstice task, Kendra managed to pull off an extremely interesting ad that pleased not only Pontiac, but also Donald Trump.

Trump hired Kendra after learning that Tana was disrespectful to her subordinates, and that Kendra's teamwork and foresight qualities were liked by many people.

Life After The Apprentice

Kendra chose to oversee the progress at Palm Beach Mansion at Palm Beach, Florida, rather than overseeing the production of the next Miss Universe Pageant. Kendra's choice was based on how close it was to her family, but also how well it matched her real estate-oriented skillset. She was also a recap writer on NBC.com for the earlier episodes of [[The Apprentice: Martha Stewart]].

A new book, called Risk and Grow Rich was recently authored by Kendra Todd and is expected to hit newsstands sometime in 2006. Information about this new book can be found at the Agent 53 website.

She also recently appeared in an infomercial for Billy Blanks' new Tae-Bo exercise program, "Billy's Bootcamp: Elite".

Kendra is a judge for the Real Estate Apprentice Foundation [link] - a grant program helping 5,000 newly licensed real estate agents every year to succeed in real estate.
