Kia Lotze

The Kia Lotze (hangul:기아 로체) is mid-size car built by Kia Motors for the South Korean market. It was launched in November 2005. The Lotze is mechanically identical to its sister car, the Hyundai Sonata. The Lotze differs from the Sonata in terms of exterior styling, and some interior options. For example, later Lotzes used the same rear leather seats as the Hyundai Azera whereas the Hyundai Sonata received different (and arguably inferior) rear leather seats. Because of their mechanical similarity, the Lotze is similar in reliability to the Hyundai Sonata.
The Lotze is produced as the Optima in the American market and as the Magentis for the Canadian market, both of which are built by Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama.
