Chris 'Kidd Chris' Foley (born 1974) is a controversial American radio personality or "shock jock", who has hosted talk radio shows throughout the United States during the late-1990s and early 21st Century. He currently hosts an afternoon-drive show for the Philadelphia rock station WYSP.

Kidd Chris got his start in radio in Syracuse New York. He also hosted a controversial radio show in Wichita, Kansas which raised the ire of local church groups. Many religious organizations attempted to band together and remove Kidd Chris from the airwaves, but he remained on the air.

From Wichita, Kidd Chris moved onto Sacramento, California where he hosted a morning show on a hip-hop station (KSFM). After several months at KSFM, he moved into an evening show on talk station KXOA. Kidd Chris's four-hour talk show was one of the highest-rated radio shows on the Pacific coast.

In the fall of 2002, Kidd Chris took a hiatus from radio and retired to upstate New York. There, he rejuvenated himself and prepared for his return, which occurred on the morning of January 5 2004 in San Antonio, Texas. He hosted a highly-rated and extraordinarily popular show at San Antonio's K-Rock 102.7 FM until early August of 2005.

With rumors flying that Kidd Chris, a former writer and contributor to Howard Stern's radio program, would replace Stern when Stern's contract expired with Infinity Broadcasting, Kidd Chris signed with Philadelphia's powerful rock station, WYSP FM. "The Kidd Chris Show" began broadcasting on WYSP 94.1 FM in Philadelphia on Monday, August 29 2005.

Kidd Chris's show is now #1 in drive time. Chris has made remarks that the show is "gay" and that "it'll be gone in six months" and while Chris may be right that the show is gay, he has well passed the deadline that was set for him. He has kept WYSP on top since the departure of Howard Stern in January and the recent David Lee Roth incident.

Here are some TRUE facts about Kidd Chris: He drinks ZIMA. He dressed-up & photographed his pet Chihuahuas. He listened to his parents make love. He claims he was nearly molested by a midget. His favorite TV show was 7th Heaven. He wears sweater-vests. He gets hair highlights. (Yet he claims that he's not gay), although in 2006 he finally admitted to being a "Jocky GAY".

Kidd Chris Show Staff

Thomas AKA ThomasFromTheKiddChrisShow - An overweight Japanese man, who is known for his arguing and his "gay lisp".
Monkeyboy - Part of the staff at WYSP prior to the show's arrival. The rest of the staff claim he adds nothing to the show. Current host of Exposed.
Rock Hard Killa - Answers the phones, and does karoke where he shouts the lyrics. His favorite drink is the White Russian. Ran a train in his parent's basement.

Show Regulars

Duckiey - A Philadelphia woman who clings to the show for attention. A real nutjob. She has expressed her dislike for the African-American community on-air.

Matt and Huggy - They host another show on WYSP. The fact that they host the show directly before Kidd Chris results in the blending of the two shows, sometimes for the first 20 minutes of the Kidd Chirs Show. Matt is also known as "Dopey Voice Guy" due to the the way he talks. Chris usually begins to talk like Matt when he is there, sometimes tricking callers into believeing that they're actually talking to Matt.

Anthony the Conscience - Former guy on show in California who calls in. He thinks he is smarter and better than everyone.

Brad The Cripple (past intern) - a wheelchair-bound caller who is now the ire of the Kidd Chris Show staff for bringing very little substance to the program.

Breath (past intern) - Pursuing an art degree and can't spell "college." Made fun of for his deep voice.

Brotha Ron - African American from Philadelphia that offers his unique insight and wisdom to the program on the phone and sometimes in studio - absolutely funny.

Chris McDevitt - A stand up comedian from New Jersey. Jokingly referred to as McCrickets, due to lack of laughter from his jokes during many of his phone calls.

Cockroach - A mentally disturbed fan in San Antonio, who frequently called the show and threatened Kidd Chris. He left a fake bomb at the S.A. studio, and the whole block had to be evacuated by the police. Left an eerie voicemail for Chris that ended in "Do you believe in VENGEANCE !!??"

Constantine - A mildy retarded regular, (founded by Brad The Cripple) whose trademark stutter and ignorance of the current on-air conversation are used for laughs. He is featured almost daily after gaining prominence in late 2005 and is often used to make humorous spoofs of songs, most notably "Move Bitch" by Ludacris and "Gold digger" by Kanye West.

East Coast Bob - Crank caller who frequently calls in to radio stations all over the country and drops lines about Chris Foley or the Kidd Chris Show while in dialogue with the unsuspecting host. His tapes of crank calls are often featured bits on the Kidd Chris show. Sometimes referred to as ECB, he has also been known to prank celebrities. His nickname is also ironic because he lives on the West Coast. He is part of the Cream Team.

Fast Fred - A mentally challenged white rapper from Sacramento who was hit in the head with a shovel in his younger days. Freddie's low quality production and frequent dead air on his own radio program make the show extremely entertaining.

Flesh Gordon - High school friend of Kidd Chris with a similar penchance for crank calls as East Coast Bob.

Fred Phelps - Controversial pastor from Kansas who calls Kidd Chris to discuss his latest protests, those being centered around the funerals of U.S. soldiers who he claims are perverted for fighting a war to protect a country that protects homosexuals.

Jimmy T - A Country Western Mexican groupie-guy who contributes to the show. But doesn't contribute very much.

Larry from High School - A man who calls Kidd Chris 'Cobra' (From G.I. Joe) and almost always reminisces with Chris about times in high school where Chris was often molested and dabbles in man goo, among other things, although Chris has never met him in his entire life. One of his calls included the line, "Remember the time your Uncle spilled Bleach on your belly? That was funny, huh?"

Larry Mendte - KYW-TV news anchor who once sold his son's Billy Joel tickets to Chris. Being that KYW-TV and WYSP are located in the same building, it is easy for Larry to appear in-studio often. Larry also has some experience as a stand up comic. He is known for his "Oh, Look at the time..." line, an excuse for leaving if the show dialouge gets too raunchy and is something he believes could threaten his reputation or career. Given the name "Open Larr" after appearing after Open Mike left the show and Kidd Chris was looking for a producer. Before leaving, Chirs will usually ask him what is "New at 11", his response being the top stories that are going to be reported during that night's 11PM newscast.

Lizzy - A drunk from Kalamazoo, Michigan who rarely makes any sense during her phone calls. She proudly describes her deviant sexual escapades during her on-air calls but frequently contradicts herself, most likely due to substance abuse.

Open Mike - (Mike Dunlop) Former side sick, known as a "Total Tool Bag". He previously was selling counterfeit baseball caps for a living in San Antonio, and was a stand-up comedian (although his material bombed at almost every gig), hence the name 'Open Mike'. His comedy is often greated with silence. Open Mike quit the show in June of 2006, to return to his unemployed lifestyle.

Red Hill Mike - Regular on the show who makes parody songs that were formerly entirely aimed at show regular Spike, whom he was known for calling a "homo" and "fag". He has sice moved on to other show regulars. He is also infamous for his monotone voice.

Reverend Bob Levy, The - Frequent caller Mr. Levy demonstrates he is a "plug whore" by interjecting dates and locations of his upcoming comedy tours into almost every call and in-studio appearance. Often made fun of for his Jewish background and for having the same material forever. Also known for mispronunciation of "Shrimp" as "Shtrimp".

Spike - Son of Howard Eskin, hosted Exposed Sunday nights on WYSP. Although he has a girlfriend, he was known for being called gay in every possible way by callers and Kidd Show crew. He has since moved on to Q101 in Chicago.

Toothpick and/or Rich Nice AKA Loose Cannons - Rich Nice(actual last name Cronin) formerly of LFO, or the Light Funky Ones, and his buddy Toothpick (known for his song "Super Size Me" from the film of the same name) appear on the show almost everyday. The two have formed a rap duo known as Loose Cannons, and Chris has heavily promoted their material. Recent calls involve the two sending Chris embarissing material from each other's past. Another topic is stories about their journey through the music industry. Rich is known for his many stories from his boy-band past that include transsexuals and obese women.

KiddZimaHater - Song parody contributer with an awful singing voice, who works in a factory, and frequntly calls the show insulting and pointing out GAY FACTS about Kidd Chris.

Popular Bits

Guess the Cherry - Staff guess the age when the female caller lost her virginity based on nominal biodata.

Nail the Number - Similar to "Guess the Cherry", staff members guess the number of sexual partner's a female caller has been with.

What You in For? - Staff guess the offense for which the incarcerated caller is jailed, based on ethnic background, age, and length of sentence being served.

Telephone Jihad - Callers destroy their phones in fun and creative ways.

Cream Team - Calling other radio stations and dropping names from the Kidd Chris show.

Beat The Clock - A game played on unsuspecting callers to which they have to try to beat the clock before staff hangs up on them.

Graffiti - Time alotted at the end of the show to let callers say almost anything they want in one sentence or less (curse words, of course, are dumped out).

Bald or Beard - A game where staff guess if a female caller has pubic hair, or shaved.

Gay or Nay - A game where Chris simply asks the caller their sexual preference.

Catch Phrases

Bammmmmm! - Yell taken from a Jerky Boys prank call that Chris claims as one of his favorites

' yah, Bitch! - Outburst from a show regular from the past while onstage preforming comedy

Provolone? - Shout from a prank call by Chris where he called various stores or distributers asking about cheese, narrowing it down to provolone. He then repeatedly yells provolone.

N-word! N-word! N-word! N-word! - Phrase mocking the heavy usage of "the n-word" during graffiti.

We're about building up on this show, not tearing down. - Coined by Chris

Hang up on this tool! - High production sound clip used on unwanted callers

"Cut that bitch off!", "Stupid ass house nigga!", "Shut yo' goddamn ass up!", etc. - Soundbites taken from a cable-access TV show where an unnamed "preacher" (very popular on the internet) reads from the Bible and lambasts callers to his show.

Wooooooooooo!! - Sound clip of the signature call used by Ric Flair of WWF/WWE fame. Used very frequently by the on-air talent and callers.

Pleasure for me! - Audio clip of The Iron Sheik (also from WWF/WWE fame). Again, used frequently by the staff and callers.

F' Jappy - A somewhat derogatory remark aimed at Thomas. Mainly used by callers to the show. A reference from Howard Stern's radio show, where caller's often say "F' Jackie", referring to former staffer Jackie Martling

SLAYYYYYYYYYEEEERRRRRRR!!! - Shouted out by callers which is often followed by a song by the band Slayer.

CLICK!!! - Literally the sound of a phone being hung up. Stems from calls where at the end, the caller asks for Thomas. When he responds, the caller hangs up on him.

BREAKING NEWS - As It Happens. - High production sound clip mocking news programming
