In Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland they are a sub-boss as well and regain the abiltity to throw bombs.

Gordos are often the one type of monster in a Kirby game that Kirby is completely unable to defeat, even with his crash ability that destroys all enemies on screen. They will typically move in a straight line, horizontally or vertically, bouncing back and forth between walls, presenting a simple moving obstacle for Kirby. In the game Kirby's Dreamland (Game Boy), Kirby can destroy Shotzo by touching them while invicible.
Scarfy
Scarfies look like orange, floating balls with cute, smiling faces and pointy ears. If Kirby attempts to use his default inhalation abilities on one, it will drop its cutsey facade, turn brown, and pursue Kirby with its sharp teeth and only one eye. Occasionally they will pursue Kirby whenever his back is turned as well. If Kirby can dodge the scarfy long enough, it will stop and explode. In Kirby SuperStar, using the copy ability on Scarfy will yield crash ability.
