Kiruna Municipality is a Swedish municipality in Norrbotten County in northern Sweden. Its seat is in the town Kiruna, with 19,000 inhabitants.
Kiruna is the northernmost municipality in Sweden, and with 19,446.8 km² is Sweden's geographically largest being as large as the combined area of Sweden's three southernmost provinces Skåne, Blekinge and Halland.
