Kiyosu (清須市; -shi) is a city located in Aichi, Japan.
2003, the former town of Kiyosu had an estimated population of 19,409 and a density of 3,696.95 persons per km². The total area was 5.25 km².
Merger
As of July 7, 2005 the towns of Kiyosu, Shinkawa und Nishibiwajima merged to form the City of Kiyosu.As of October 10, 2005 the new City of Kiyosu has a population of 55,039 and a density of 4,135 persons per km². The total area is 13.31 km². Home to the Kiyosu Castle, rebuilt in 1989.
