Klaus Fischer (born 27 December 1949 in Kreuzstraßl near Lindberg (Bayerischer Wald) in Regen (district), Germany) is a former German football player and football coach.

He scored many goals, and some of them with an artistic "Bicycle kick" ("Fallrückzieher"), his trademark move. In Germany, he was selected three times for scoring the ARD Goal of the Year which is, like the ARD Goal of the Month and ARD Goal of the Century, selected by spectators of ARD German TV, among spectatular or important soccer goals scored in or for Germany.His most speactular Bicycle kick goal, which was also elected as "ARD Goal of the Century" in Germany, was scored on 16 November 1977 in Stuttgart's Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion against Switzerland (4:1).
Also, at the 1982 FIFA World Cup vs France, he Bicycle kicked the important 3:3 equalizer in overtime, but this goal made it not among the top ten of the WC Goal of the Century.
Like most of the Schalke 04 team, he was involved in the Bundesliga scandal of 1971. He was banned from playing professional football for some time but later pardoned. Nevertheless, as a consequence he missed the 1974 World cup.
