Kobayakawa Hidekane

(1566-1601) was the 9th and final son of Mori Motonari.
Hidekane at a very early age was adopted by Ota Hidetsuna. Hidekane was also later brought to Kyoto by the likes of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, allowing him to use his surname (Toyotomi). After Hidekane served during the Kyushu Campaign, Hidekane was awarded with Chikugo at Kurume. Hidekane also fought during the Battle of Sekigahara, leading western troops to battle. Also Tachibaba Muneshige at the Otsu Castle. After that he was deprived of his land, and only received a small fief in the Nagato Province.
