Koharu Kusumi

, born July 15, 1992 in Niigata Prefecture, Japan) is the newest addition to Morning Musume, being the only 7th generation Morning Musume member (the last generation to only have one new member was the third generation with member Maki Goto). Before she joined Morning Musume she was the captain of her school's volleyball team. Koharu's audition process and debut was documented during the 2005 episodes of TV Tokyo television show, Hello! Morning.
Kusumi has been a member of the Hello! Project kickbase team Metro Rabbits H.P. since its formation in the beginning of 2006 and since April 7, 2006 she has been the voice actor for Kirari Tsukishima, the main character in the anime .
