Born in 1979 in Nobeoka, Koiko is among the new generation of indies J-pop singers, who made her debuts thanks to internet, before being officially on CD. The music of Koiko mixes typical Japanese voice and influences like Kyouhei Tsutsumi with American R'n'B (Tamla Motown), and French spoken lyrics.Label
