Koratla is a city and a municipality in Karimnagar district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Geography

Koratla is located at [18.82° N 78.72° E][Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Koratla]. It has an average elevation of 286 metres (938 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Koratla had a population of 54,021. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Koratla has an average literacy rate of 60%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 69%, and female literacy is 51%. In Koratla, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
