Kraśnik

Kraśnik is a town in eastern Poland with 37,989 inhabitants (2003), situated in the Lublin Voivodship. It is the seat of Kraśnik County.
First settled in the 13th century, it received its city charter in 1377. Until the 19th century it belonged to the Zamoyski family.
Sights: ruin of 17th century Zamoyski castle (castle not exist anymore because it was build from wood, there is only a little known about it), 18th century baroque Holy Ghost hospital church, monastery and church from the 15th century, two historic synagogues.
