Krombacher is one of the most famous brands of beer in Germany. It tastes round and well, with a distinctive hop flavour.

History

The Krombacher brand was founded in 1803 by Bernhard Schadeberg and has continued to be in the hands of the Schadeberg family for generations.

Location

Krombach is a suburb of Kreuztal near Siegen a small city in a part of Germany called Siegerland. Siegerland is located in the south east of the German state of North Rhine Westphalia. The small town of Krombach is located at the foot of the Rothaargebirge hills. This is the location where the natural spring water used to produce the beer is extracted, as well as the location of the Krombacher distiller.

Products

The Krombacher brand produces five beverages: The Krombacher Pils, a regular pilsener. The Rhenania Alt, a dark beer. The Krombacher, a mixture of 50% Krombacher Pils and 50% lemonade. The Krombacher non-alcoholic, a non-alcoholic beer. And The Krombacher Cab, a mixture of Krombacher Pils, Cola and the aroma of the dragon fruit.
