Kuala Lumpur Rawang Highway route 1 also known as Jalan Kuching and Jalan Ipoh
History
The highway was upgraded on 1985 by Kamunting Corporation Berhad. The Jalan Kuching toll plaza was in operation from 1987. And until 2003 the toll plaza was officially closed. Today the highway is maintanced by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL))Current developments
The Segambut roundabout has been upgraded into four-level interchange. Construction began on 2004 and will be completed on the end of 2006. The project led by Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR), Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and the main contractor Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad (AZRB).List of Interchange
