Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 1 is a urban and municipal main ring road in Kuala Lumpur. It is also known as Kuala Lumpur-Petaling Jaya Traffic Dispersal Scheme, Jalan Tun Razak, Lebuhraya Mahameru, Jalan Damansara, Jalan Istana and Jalan Lapangan Terbang by Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR). It is a busing ring road during rush hour time.
History
The construction of the ring road would divided on four phase. The first phase were from Parliament Building to Lebuhraya Mahameru on 1960s. The second phase were from Parliament Building to Istana Negara on 1970s. The third phase were from Istana Negara to Sungai Besi Airport on 1980-1995 and final phase were from Lebuhraya Mahameru to Sungai Besi Airport on 1980-2000.Current developments
The Sentul Link which connecting from PWTC interchange of Jalan Kuching and Lebuhraya Mahameru to Sentul. Construction began on 2004 and will be completed on the early of 2007. The projects led by Kuala Lumpur City Hall.List of Interchange
