Kurali is a city and a municipal council in Rupnagar district in the Indian state of Punjab.

Geography

Kurali is located at [30.83° N 76.57° E][Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Kurali]. It has an average elevation of 281 metres (921 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Kurali had a population of 23,039. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Kurali has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 69%. In Kurali, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
