Melanie Hernandez Calumpad (a.k.a. Kyla) (born January 5 1981) is a singer from the Philippines. She is dubbed as the "R&B Princess of the Philippines".
She graduated from the Philippine Christian University in 2002, with a degree in Mass Communication. She hosts and performs in a weekly variety show SOP (Sobrang Okey Pare) and a kiddie talent search Popstar Kids in the Philippines.

Released her 5th album entitled "Beautiful Days" which features songs from 112's hit "Cupid" and other revivals like "I Wish I Wasn't", Boyz II Men's "Doin' Just Fine", "Without You" and "Say That You Love Me".
The new album expresses the R&B princess' journey towards being in love and penned two songs in the said album, "Beautiful Days" and "How Am I Gonna Tell You"
