The program will also air on the ABC network on Fridays at 9:00/8:00 Central; the first network airing was on June 30, 2006. ABC Family has ordered 10 episodes for the first season. The basic premise of Kyle XY is similar to John Doe, although it was supposedly created before John Doe became a series.
